QUICK SHOT: Here’s how to keep up with nonprofit fundraising… online

Remember just one year ago, when some of us would’ve asked, “What’s a Zoom?”

What a difference a year – and a global pandemic – makes!

COVID-19 radically shifted many of the ways we interact… communicate… and learn with each other. Most people’s lives were changed and many organizations made big shifts to survive such difficult times.

But in the midst of it all, there was a silver lining: it made connecting online with people not just important, but a way of life.

Going into 2021, BDI wants to keep these online connections vibrant and strong! Though we may be in different towns, different states or even different time zones, we want to connect with people regularly. We want to provide learning opportunities to expertly guide your organization through 2021… and beyond.

So here are two exciting new ways you can learn and stay connected with BDI!

BDI Academy “Insider Tips” Video Series

This is a new 12-episode video series from our BDI Academy program, hosted by Senior VP/BrewerAcademy Shellie Speer. This incredible series of short videos is packed with helpful hints for your organization… you’ll turn to them time and time again!

While many nonprofits have strong direct response strategies, they may struggle with the development of their major donor, planned giving or volunteer programs. These are critical to building deeper relationships with your supporters, strengthening your team and elevating your cause.

Each video is just a few minutes long, but packed with ideas, tools and tips that nonprofits will appreciate. Each one comes with a free strategy guide download to help you dive deeper.

We hope these Insider Tips videos empower your team to build a comprehensive and holistic development program. They are a great way for you to expand your outreach and better serve the hurting in your community.

BDI Empower Webinar Series and Virtual Community

BDI is now launching a virtual community! Anyone can join this platform to connect, collaborate and learn alongside leaders in the nonprofit fundraising and marketing industry.

Each month, you’ll have the chance to learn from expert nonprofit fundraising and marketing professionals who will present the latest trends, data-driven strategies and big-picture insights. Plus, it gives you that all-important time to connect with the BDI team and other development professionals from nonprofits across the country.

All topics are focused on development, ranging from engaging your board of directors to rebranding best practices and social media fundraising. Each webinar is one hour long, and most include a 15-minute Q&A where you’ll be able to ask questions and get live answers.

But most importantly, you will have the chance to connect and share insights with a community of industry professionals from the comfort of your own home!

Exciting times, huh? With personal connection being more important than ever, the entire BDI Team is looking forward to all these new opportunities to connect with you each month in 2021. See you soon!
